Two separate pilot studies were conducted in February and March at the Spanish universities Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) and Universidad de Valladolid (Uva) in Madrid and Valladolid, respectively. The pilot studies followed the same organization and involved 22 participants pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in teaching education. The participants got familiar with the FERTILE training material, tinkered with various educational robotics kits, and collaborated to design projects combining Arts and Educational Robotics
