The FERTILE UniWA team, in collaboration with the MSc Digital Transformation and Educational Practice, co-hosted a lecture and workshop by Mr. Fessakis Georgios on the UniWA premises. Mr Fessakis is a professor at the University of the Aegean and a distinguished researcher on Robotics-based learning for computational thinking promotion.
On December 7th, 2022, Mr. Fessakis gave a lecture about Robotics’ integration into the Greek educational curriculum. Moreover, on December 9th, 2022, Mr. Fessakis organized a workshop around robotic projects with Makey Makey, focusing on how robotic activities may promote specific computational thinking concepts such as pattern recognition.
