A pilot study was conducted at Charles University in January and February 2024. There were 15 participants, teachers and student-teachers in Computer Science, Art Education, and Primary Education.
The pilot study was organised in two face-to-face meetings, and training materials were provided for asynchronous sessions. Participants were introduced to the “FERTILE” methodology and participated in workshops focused on Computational Thinking and the interdisciplinarity of Educational Robotics and Arts.
Furthermore, they learned the possibilities of applying Educational Robotics Simulators in a blended learning context, and got acquainted with the “FERTILE “community platform for designing and sharing Artful ER projects.
The face-to-face meetings were organized in the computer labs at the Faculty of Education. All training materials were provided through LMS Moodle, which was also used for communication during the asynchronous sessions.
