On May 12th 2023, the UniWA research team participated in the Youth conference “19 schools + Teenage theatre = celebration2” organised in the context of the research project “Experimental Application of Theatre Education School” of the Department of Theatre Studies, National Kapodistrian University of Athens. The topic was “Theatre and Science in Secondary Education:” Me, a universe of atoms, an atom in the universe”.
During the conference, a 10-minute play titled “RoboTerrorizing the Playground” which was designed based on the “FERTILE” Design methodology, was presented by students from Theomitor School, one of the Greek Associated Schools. The students went on stage alongside the robots they had constructed and programmed at school, demonstrating in action how Arts and Robotics can be combined fascinatingly!
