Training event in Prague,Czech Republic, Sep – Dec 2024

The second “FERTILE” training in Parague organised by the Charles University!

The  CUP FERTILE training event was organized for various groups in several sessions. For each group we organised 2 face-to-face sessions and one online synchronous session. All face-to-face sessions took place in the computer labs at the Faculty of Education, Charles University.  

  • The 1st face-to-face session (September 19, October 9) took 3 hours and included introduction to the FERTILE project, workshop of computational thinking and introduction to the interdisciplinary of educational robotics and ART.
  • The 2nd face-to-face session (September 26, October 16) took 3 hours and was focused on the development of artful project and working with FERTILE design methodology.
  • Online session (October 10, November 13) took 1 hour and was focused on analysis of projects and evaluation.

Between the sessions participants were involved in asynchronous activities with videos and multimedia learning resources. They also collaborated through the FERTILE community platform on their own projects.Additionally, we also organized one extra face-to-face meeting for another group of teachers on December 17.

40 Czech educators from primary and secondary education, participated in the training event.
